Investment strategy
The Fund seeks to tackle pressing issues in the Dutch Senior Living market, specifically the severe and growing shortage of affordable, adequate, and quality housing for the elderly. This social return complements the financial return and helps reduce long-term risk by lowering vacancy rates.
The Fund invests directly in high-quality real estate properties in the Netherlands, primarily in care real estate. This can be a single assisted living asset or a private care home or a combination between the subsegments, like an intramural care home with senior living and a pharmacy. The combination of individual leased apartment and master-leased nursing homes gives the benefits of a low-risk product (apartments) and higher returns (commercial lease).
