Annemarie Maarse joins Bouwinvest Board of Directors as Chief Operational Officer

In her new role, Annemarie Maarse will be responsible for Bouwinvest’s operational performance, with a strong focus on investment results, client satisfaction and operational efficiency. She will head the Dutch and International Investments business units and the Client Services and Business Technology departments.

Wendy Verschoor, the Chair of Bouwinvest’s Supervisory Board, says: “We are delighted to have filled the new COO position with an internal candidate. Annemarie Maarse is currently Head of Asset Management at Bouwinvest. In this position, she is responsible for the evaluation of the existing asset management organisation, which has led to strategic partnership agreements with three property managers for Bouwinvest’s Residential, Healthcare, Retail, Office and Hotel funds. Bouwinvest will now start the search for a successor to her current position. Prior to joining Bouwinvest, Annemarie was Director of Asset Management at Achmea Real Estate and Head of Asset Management Residential at Altera Vastgoed.

Changes to management structure 
In May of this year, Bouwinvest announced that the composition of the Board of Directors will change as of 1 November 2025. The current Board of Directors consists of five members: the CEO, the CFRO, the Chief Client Officer (CCO), the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Dutch Investments and the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) International Investments.

On 1 November 2025, Marleen Bosma (CCO), Allard van Spaandonk (CIO Dutch Investments) and Stephen Tross (CIO International Investments) will step down from the Board of Directors. Effective 1 November 2025, the Bouwinvest Board of Directors will consist of:

• Chief Financial & Risk Officer: Henk-Dirk de Haan
• Chief Operational Officer: Annemarie Maarse
