Bouwinvest appoints Lisa Wassenaar as Head of Asset Management effective 1 November

October 6, 2025

Bouwinvest has appointed long-time employee Lisa Wassenaar as Head of Asset Management effective 1 November. In this role, Lisa will be responsible for the performance of the assets under management (AuM) in Bouwinvest’s Dutch real estate funds and mandates. Her remit covers Asset Management and all related areas of expertise and processes. Lisa succeeds Annemarie Maarse, who will assume the role of COO at Bouwinvest on the same date.

Annemarie Maarse on her succession: “I will hand over Asset Management at Bouwinvest on 1 November with full confidence in Lisa. She knows the organisation inside out, and with continuity in mind we are pleased to have found the right internal candidate. Lisa will continue on the path we have taken and continue our drive to optimise Asset Management at Bouwinvest.”

The Head of Asset Management plays a strategically centralised role at Bouwinvest. In this position, Lisa will lead several teams, including Commercial Asset Management and Technical Asset Management. Her focus will be on advancing data-driven and performance-driven working methods to improve client satisfaction even further.

Lisa has been with Bouwinvest for more than eight years and has held several positions in that time, most recently as Deputy Fund Manager for Residential Investments. Prior to joining Bouwinvest, she worked as a consultant at Capgemini and Accenture. With more than fifteen years of experience in strategy, transformation and organisational development, and in building high-performing teams, we believe she is the ideal candidate to help Bouwinvest archive its ambitious growth objectives.
