Paul shared his view on what it takes to keep capital committed to Dutch residential real estate for the long haul "long term capital requires predictability, and capital will flow to markets with greater certainty". The overarching takeaway: despite regulatory and fiscal headwinds, the fundamentals of the Dutch residential market remain exceptionally strong. Near-zero vacancy risk, continued GDP growth and acute housing demand mean the long-term investment case is still very much intact for those willing to take the long view.
