The Bouwinvest Residential Fund has bought two apartment blocks in the Villa Industria development in Hilversum from De Alliantie. This acquisition of 80 apartments destined for the liberalised rental housing sector is an important step in the following phase of the high-quality plan.

Villa Industria offers a varied range of homes, from apartments to semi-detached houses and from regulated rentals to liberalised rentals and owner-occupied homes. The first homes will be delivered at the end of 2014. Construction will commence in September 2014 and the apartments are expected to be ready for occupancy at the end of 2015.

“Hilversum is covered by our core regional policy, in which we favour active investment in urban areas. A city centre location such as Villa Industrial in the medium-priced rental sector fits well into the residential real estate portfolio,” explains Michiel de Bruine, Head of Bouwinvest’s Residential Asset Management.
