Bouwinvest Sells 94 Social Housing Units in Assen

The Bouwinvest Dutch Residential Fund has sold 94 single family homes in Assen in the northeast province of Drenthe to private investors. The sale consists of social housing in the Peelo district of the town and is aligned with Bouwinvest’s strategy to reduce the proportion of regulated rental sector units wthin the total portfolio of the fund.

Agreement on the sale was reached in May of this year and it was completed on October 1st. The transaction demonstrates the continuing strong investor interest in Dutch residential assets even outside the core Randstad urban conurbation. Capital Value advised Bouwinvest on the sale and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek acted as legal advisor.
