Bouwinvest acquires retail property rented by Claudia Sträter in Eindhoven city centre
Bouwinvest’s Dutch Retail Fund, buys retail premises on one of Eindhoven’s main shopping streets. The building covers 440 m2 of leasable area at Rechtestraat 35-35a in Eindhoven and is rented to Dutch fashion brand Claudia Sträter.
The acquisition is a good match for the growth strategy of the Retail Fund, particularly the “Retail Experience” element, which focuses on stores in A1 locations in the centres of the Top 10 retail destinations in the Netherlands. Eindhoven is the city with the largest retail offering in the province of Noord-Brabant and is among the Top Ten most attractive Dutch cities for shopping. The Rechtestraat is located in the city’s central shopping area and is the busiest shopping street in Eindhoven after Demer.
This latest acquisition represents a further expansion in Bouwinvest Retail Fund’s portfolio in Eindhoven, following the previous purchase of properties at Demer 38 (The Sting store) and 48 (Van Dalen Store).
Bettings O.G. acted as broker on behalf of Bouwinvest.
