After setback, investors are looking for opportunities

In our newest outlook, we set out the trends and developments impacting the Dutch real estate market in the period through to 2024. With the economic recovery that started in 2021, society seems to be emerging from the Covid-19 crisis in relatively good shape. At the same time, the crisis has triggered a number of structural changes in the real estate market. Meanwhile, the increasing urgency of climate change and the need for greater sustainability will have a major impact on all real estate sectors. In relative terms, however, real estate markets remain an interesting investment category, in terms of yield spread, the expected stability of income streams and the societal impact real estate can have.
